A friend is house hunting at the moment and was going to view one up on the North Wales coast near Colwyn Bay. She asked if I wanted to make a day out from it, and I agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not too far, a bit over an hour\u2019s drive from here. Once we\u2019d completed the viewing we decided to travel further along the coast towards Caernarfon. We went to Dinas Dinlle, which is near the entrance to the Menai Straits. Dinas Dinlle has a rock and pebble beach. It provides a side-on view of the Snowdon mountain range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/61storbit.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/10\/dz60595-2.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-693\"\/><figcaption>Dinas Dinlle<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Being late autumn, the sun is much lower, even in the middle part of the day, so scenes tend to be silhouetted when facing towards the sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had both my Nikon digital camera with me and the medium format film camera, which had its first outing with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/61storbit.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/10\/dz60617-2.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-694\"\/><figcaption>Lake in Snowdonia with medium format camera<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The combination of lowish sun angle and clouds helped to create some dramatic scenery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We had encountered some horrendous road works and to avoid them, we took a scenic route back which took us through the middle of Snowdonia via Llanberis through to Betwys y Coed, and then back home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/61storbit.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/10\/dz60620-3.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-695\"\/><figcaption>Looking towards Snowdon Mountains&nbsp;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The mountain scenery was dramatic and we were able to stop to take some more pictures.
