December 2022 was another opportunity for some winter landscape photography in the Lake District. This time, the base was Grasmere.
The visit coincided with a protracted spell of cold weather with daytime temperatures scarcely reaching 0C and often down to -6C or so.
This made for scenes filled with frost and ice.
